Alternative perspectives was a student design exhibition held at the University of the Sunshine Coast Art Gallery. Alternative Perspectives explored the unique ways we each see our world. The exhibition focused on differences and synergies, embracing individual perspectives and personal connections for both the creator and the audience.
travel-sick: the need to see and experience new places, to leave your normal life to explore and adventure.
A love for all things travel and photography is what first brought the idea for the magazine to life. With a collection of illustrations, photographs, and written pieces, this magazine showcases my skills in my favourite format. This work shines a light on the processes of design and what is required to produce the final polished product. This alternative perspective helps to show the artistry in design work. It breaks the misconception that design is effortless. Engaging and visually pleasing design takes more effort than it may seem at first. Take this time to consider the careful thought that goes into every piece of design, into every work in this exhibition.
I created the exhibition catalogue. I used the branding to put together the layout. I worked with a photographer and copywriter to finalise the catalogue and send it to print.
